How accurate is Arthur?

We don't ask happy users for reviews. We let everyone — happy or unhappy — vote or on every check, and we publish the totals here. The numbers move when you submit feedback. They're sometimes uncomfortable, and that's the point.

What these numbers mean

  • False positive — Arthur said it looked like a scam, but the user says it wasn't. The cost is alarming someone over something safe.
  • False negative — Arthur said it looked OK, but the user says it actually was a scam. This is the worst kind of error, because the user might trust the false reassurance.
  • User reports — How many users clicked "Report this scam" on a verdict, sending evidence to Scamwatch and related destinations.

We don't paywall this page or filter the data. If the rates look bad we'll fix the model — that's what the feedback loop is for.
